As a consultant now affiliated with MRG, Rick Haydon facilitates goal-setting and strategic planning workshops, conducts performance evaluations on executive managers, and project-manages a multitude of different types of engagements ranging from organizational assessments to long-range fiscal sustainability plans to management audits. Since 2017, Rick has worked with dozens of public and private sector clients throughout the western United States, from Arizona to Washington. He has worked on highly-sensitive and politically-charged projects, as well as technical and complex organizational matters, all with successful results. His clients appreciate Rick’s professional demeanor and political acumen, his ability to see the big picture while not losing sight of the details, and his consistent delivery on time and on budget. He is a past recipient of the Robert F. Grogan Award for Public Service, a previous National Management Association (NMA) Manager of the Year, a graduate of the Leadership Monterey Peninsula Program, and was a 2018 Citizen of the Year in Santa Maria, California.
