But we’re more – we are also experienced technical experts in all critical areas impacting public sector employeesOur team includes former County Counsel, a former Chief of Police and Safety command staff, as well as former Directors of Human Resources and public agency departments.  We know both the how and why” issues related to public sector operations.  

We are also available to help resolve the conflicts that result in workplace claims.  Our mediators are seasoned and experienced at conflict resolution and, more importantly, in brokering resolutions and generating a plan of action.  We help develop the skills of the staff member that undermine the client’s operations and limit organizational potential. 

We also serve as hearing officers and neutral fact finders to assist our clients in seeking final resolution to critical organizational challenges.

  • Workplace Investigations – Investigations conducted by licensed investigator. Investigation scope includes the full-range of workplace misconduct, including alleged harassment, discrimination, and internal complaints. Extensive experience conducting investigations of workplace complaints, including over 300 workplace investigations of factual disputes for public and private sector employers
  • Organizational Support and Advice – Advice and counsel for decision-makers; coaching and conflict resolution services for employees and management; post investigation mediation and workplace conflict resolution services
  • Adjudication and Related Support – Serve as hearing officer for internal grievances; review grand jury related allegations and findings

 

Expert Witness Testimony

Certified expert support on matters including the adequacy of investigations, public sector personnel practices, performance management, and the ADA interactive process

  • Arbitration Hearings – Expert witness testimony by certified expert provided in arbitration hearings concerning pay and benefits programs
  • Grand Jury, Personnel Boards, Civil Service Commissions and adjudication panels – Expert witness testimony concerning investigation outcomes and employee relations matters, as well as the adequacy of public agency budget and financial condition to support personnel and staffing
