Our senior HHS consultant has over 30 years of health care marketplace experience and understands the service delivery models, political landscape and organizational dynamics associated with packaging and delivering quality, cost effective services. We have well established relationships with HHS associated county and state governance and we understand the executive management, organizational models, intergovernmental and community relations, and the state, federal, and grant funding streams associated with delivering a broad array of HHS programs, including:

• Public Health
  Specific programs include Public Health Nursing (PHN) services; Maternal Child Health (MCH) services; Woman, Infants and Children (WIC) services; Childrens’ medical services (CCS & CHDP); prevention services (Tobacco and Alcohol & Drug); communicable disease prevention including TB and HIV; surveillance; Public Health Laboratory; and Vital Statistics.
• Clinical Services
  County Medical and Dental clinic operations and staffing; Medi-Cal and Medicare, health care reform (Affordable Care Act), Federal Qualified Health Clinics (FQHC); Indian Health Services; Medically Indigent programs and all associated funding.
• Adult Mental Health and Alcohol & Drug Services
  Alcohol and drug treatment programs, screening and eligibility, mental health crisis lines, inpatient mental health services, and psychiatric health facility, drug court; jail medical and psychiatric services; In-Home Support Services (IHSS), Adult Protective Services (APS) including investigation and follow up for adult abuse cases and neglect; and Public Guardian.
• Children Services
  Child Protective Services (CPS) and crisis interventions and intake; emergency children’s shelter management; mental health services; assessments and medication management; probation services; foster care and adoptions; special education; substance abuse services; Child Welfare Services (CWS).
• Human Services
  Traditional welfare programs, CalWORKS; Medi-Cal eligibility; welfare to work; CalFRESH (food stamps); General Relief; indigent health care eligibility and enrollment; employment assistance; housing.
• Environmental Health
  Environmental review in conjunction with Community Development Resource Agency staff, environmental health land use and water resources review and oversight. Consumer protection services such as restaurant, pool and well inspections and hazardous materials and solid waste management services.
