MRG, announced today that its CEO, Mary Egan, has been named a winner of the Sacramento Business Journal’s 2018 “Women Who Mean Business” award.
“I am honored to be included among such a distinguished and accomplished group,” said Egan. “As a business executive and leader, I am driven by the desire to create transformational change for our clients. It is gratifying for me and for the MRG team to be recognized for our efforts.”
Egan was a founding member of Municipal Resource Group in 2007. At the newly rebranded MRG, Egan assumes the role of CEO and majority owner. Egan is a licensed private investigator whose work is at the forefront of issues related to harassment, discrimination and misconduct in the workplace and was a founding member of the national organization Association of Workplace Investigators. She is also a certified executive coach and often works with elected and appointed Boards and their Chief Executive Officers. Earlier, she held key positions with the City of Sacramento and City of San Jose.
