Charlie Wilson

Charlie Wilson provides broad support to public agencies in the human resources and risk management disciplines.

As a seasoned practitioner and leader, he can assess the operational, programmatic and strategic effectiveness of HR and Risk Management activities and support agencies on employee relations, labor negotiations, performance management, compensation and benefits and policy review. Charlie is an adept trainer, facilitator and organizational development professional who can conduct assessments and interventions to help identify and resolve functional, team and work culture challenges.

After twenty years of Human Resources work for not-for-profit healthcare organizations (Sutter Health; Dignity Health), Charlie returned to the public sector and held key HR/Risk Management leadership positions for the Cities of Roseville and Grass Valley and both the County of Butte and County of Nevada. His analytical and personable style assists him in quickly assessing problems and issues so that effective recommendations and actions may be implemented.

Charlie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from California State University, Chico and has been active in numerous professional organizations. He has served as a Board Director for two risk management Joint Powers Authorities and currently serves on the Board for a philanthropic corporation.
